Rotating Sculpture Site, Steamboat Warf Rd. Bernard, Me.

We (my husband Isaac Van Houten and myself Kristy Summers) are working on creating a rotational sculpture site on our property in Bernard, Me. Our goal is to rotate large scale works from year to year bringing visitors to the area something new to look at and explore. Our hope is to share our love of sculpture and our 40+ years of combined experience with the community. We are excited to be working in this community and look forward to what the future holds. We are available for consultations, commissions, or the purchase of existing works.
The sculptures displayed on Steamboat Wharf Rd. in Bernard Maine will be available for purchase or loan. Please contact for additional information.
This is a sculpture inspired by the current conflict between Russia and the Ukraine, as well as turmoil within our own country including rumblings of civil war, it felt imperative to create a work acknowledging the current climate. We consider it our antiwar sculpture. The sculpture is designed and built inspired by an antitank hedgehog. The sculpture was built and designed by Isaac Van Houten and Kristy Summers. The work stand roughly 8 ft tall, 8 ft wide, and 8ft deep. The work is constructed with steel i-beam and weighs roughly 1500lbs.
