Within my sculptural work I often utilize imagery both literally and metaphorically. A grouping a “paper cranes” made out of steel; is a representation of a bird; is a symbol of hope and good fortune; a flock or family; speaks about our relationship between the natural world and industry; and becomes a word play between an industrial crane and the bird.
